a bit about me

Hey there! I'm Rachel VanAken, and I'm an Experience Designer from West Michigan. According to my design friends, I'm a great leader, I like to challenge people's ideas, and I'm quite the talker. To be honest, talking is my favorite part of design. From selling my ideas to just brainstorming with a friend, I'll talk design all day. Apart from that, I'm a strategic thinker and I've been told I'm a very well-rounded designer.

Some of my other interests/guilty pleasures include watching makeup videos for hours, drinking copious amounts of coffee (or McDonald's Diet Coke) and eating breakfast food for every meal of the day.
